Today is the First Year Research Conference. You will not have your TRIAD classes,

but all other courses will be on schedule.

2. Projected COMPOSITION Links for Portfolio THREE (Every assignment listed on class plans MUST be addressed in your final reflective letter.)

You know what I expect out of this final reflective letter. This is the last time to showcase your hard work, so make it juicy, make it rich in thought, lots of details about your learning process and  how you intend on making application of the things you have learned. You know the expectation, and I know you can exceed it!

  • Research Log p3 (10 sources min)
  • Outline
  • Presentation Notes, research
  • Link Video /Power Point, Prezi
  • Draft One Essay Three
  • Peer Review Draft one Essay Three
  • Conference (a section discussing the Research Conference & The Handout)
  • Final Draft
  • Seminar required assignments 
    • Your Video/Presenetation
    •  Videos should be posted to YouTube  with link to the video. *Required*
  • Talk about your triad this semester. The good, the acceptable, and the let's not mention it. ;) 

 

3. Seminar SECTION of THE portfolio should address the following  

Reflective Overview will have three sections which must be addressed. 

  • Discuss what you learned from creating a short film or song.
  • Spend time explaining why your group chose to film your issue or write your song the way you did.
  • How did you formulate the ideas for your film or song?
  • How did the research and writing from your Argument of Evaluation help you your project?
  • Describe your experience working in a group.
  • Discuss the connections that are apparent in your three Triad courses.
  • Lastly, please discuss your semester as a whole. How was the triad beneficial or not beneficial? What did you like the most/ least?
  • If you presented, please discuss this process. If you did not present, but attended the conference- discuss your experience and what you learned.
  • Final Comments.


 
Project Description address the following questions:

    • What is the problem your solution would address?
    • How would your solution address the problem?
    • Are there aspects of your solution that are original and innovative? How?
    • How much do you think your solution would cost to launch the project, and how long would it take?
    • Is it "transportable" so that your solution could be copied in other cities or countries?
    • As a rough estimation, how many people would your solution take to run the project, once it was off the ground? How many jobs could be paid? How many volunteer? Would your congressman support this?
    • Do you see this as a non-profit project, or profit? Would there be any revenue stream possible, or do you see it as funded by the government or private foundations? Or a combination of the two?
